Montreal Canadiens NHL Draft Preview

Today is the first round of the 2014 NHL Draft and we will take a look at the Montreal Canadiens 26th overall pick. Rounds 2-7 will take place starting tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.

Here are the Montreal Canadiens selections before any changes are potentially made today.

ROUND ONE: 26th Overall
ROUND THREE: 87th Overall
ROUND FOUR: 117th Overall
ROUND FIVE: 125th Overall (From Islanders)
ROUND FIVE: 147th Overall
ROUND SIX: 177th Overall
ROUND SEVEN: 207th Overall

The Canadiens second round pick was traded to the New York Islanders for Thomas Vanek. The Canadiens also received the Islanders 5th round pick in the trade.
