Ignacio Piatti Heading Back to Argentina?

Ignacio Piatti has only played three games for the Montreal Impact and there are already reports that he could be on his way out.

Juan Arango, who writes for a variety of soccer-related websites including World Soccer Talk, translated an interview conducted by ESPN in Spanish. For those who wish to see the interview, it can be viewed here or towards the bottom of this article.

According to his translation, Arango said that Piatti is considering going to back his former club, San Lorenzo of Argentina, to play in the FIFA Club World Cup in December and January.

Although it does seem like Piatti wants to go back on a loan bases, it’s still discouraging that a player who was just brought in is already looking for a way out.

Don’t forget, Piatti made comments on an Argentine radio show that he wanted to sign for a bigger club in the MLS, such as a team in New York or Miami.
